Mark Rosen, who passed away on July 3, 2019, was a beloved member of the American College of CHEST Physicians for more than 40 years, earning the esteemed Master FCCP designation in 2013. Dr. Rosen served the college as President from 2006-2007, and continues to make a lasting impression on chest medicine, that will continue for many years to come. He not only served on numerous CHEST committees, including: Global Education & Development, SEEK Editorial Board, CHEST Journal Editorial Board, and CHEST Foundation Community Service Work Group, but was also a CHEST staff member, serving as Medical Director and Director of Global Education and Strategic Development from 2011-2016. He was an enormous supporter of the CHEST Foundation, and his legacy continues as a Life Member. Our sincerest appreciation to Ilene and the entire Rosen family for supporting his dedication to Championing Lung Health through volunteering, philanthropy, and the work he did for the American College of Chest Physicians and the CHEST Foundation. We will always remember Dr. Rosen for his sense of humor and ability to lead others to Champion Lung Health.
