The CHEST Foundation interacts with external stakeholders to champion lung health and strengthen our mission, vision, and values. Our efforts are values based and mission-oriented, practices that are utilized in both the public and private sector. The concept of Shared Values describes ways in which corporations and other external stakeholders can meet their mission of sustainability and profitability while also focusing on and achieving positive long-lasting social change. Watch the video below to view an example of how we partner with corporate and nonprofit partners at our Lung Health Experience events.
Partnering with the CHEST Foundation allows you to champion lung health while building awareness and educating the lung health community. Our generous nonprofit partners and corporate supporters collaborate with us to find innovative ways to engage clinicians, patients, caregivers, and the public on the importance of understanding lung health and the multitude of diseases that affect lungs. This ultimately leads to improving the lives of patients across the globe.

Patient Education Guide, Material Development, and Dissemination
An informed and confident patient is the key to better care. CHEST Foundation patient education can help patients understand complex medical conditions. We take great care ensuring that our patient education is personalized and targeted so our materials can have the greatest impact on patient outcomes.
While health-care providers are often encouraged to involve patients when making treatment decisions, an obstacle exists when the patient is not informed. With a plethora of information available, it is important that we provide specialists and primary care clinicians a growing library of medically accurate and credible information to meet the needs of patients. Our guides and materials are created and reviewed by our CHEST members, experts in their respective fields, ensuring the guides and materials are comprehensive and world-class quality.
